How to Buy Your First Product on Lid
Buying on Lid is designed to be as easy as any online store, but with one major difference: when you buy here, you truly own the digital asset.
Whether you have found a stunning piece of art or an essential guide, here is how to complete your purchase securely in seconds.
Before You Start
Log In: Make sure you are signed into your Lid account (via email or wallet).
Check Your Balance: Ensure you have enough USDC in your balance to cover the price of the item.
Step 1: Find Your Product
Explore the main feed or visit your favorite creator’s storefront. Once you find the product you want to own, simply click the purple "Buy Now" button.
Step 2: Security & Confirmation
To keep your funds safe, Lid uses a secure 2-step confirmation process. You will see pop-up windows appear on your screen:
Authorize Payment: The first window asks for permission to use the specific amount of USDC for this purchase. Click "Approve".
Confirm Transaction: Immediately after, a second window will appear to finalize the transfer. Click "Approve" again to complete the sale.
Note: These steps ensure that you are always in full control of your funds.
Step 3: It’s All Yours
Once the transaction is approved, you will see a "Transaction Complete!" message.
Where is my product? You don’t need to search your email for a download link. Your new digital asset is instantly added to your collection.
Click on the "Library" icon in your navigation bar to view, download, or enjoy your new purchase immediately.
