# Earn by sharing in 5 minutes

Earn by sharing other people's products: get your link from any product page, no application, a commission of 1% to 50% assigned to you in the same transaction as the sale.

You don't need your own product. Share someone else's and earn a cut of every sale.

{% step %}

### Sign up

Go to [lid.pro](https://lid.pro) and create an account with your email.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Find a product

Open [Explore](https://lid.pro/en/discovery) and pick something you would recommend. Each product shows its commission up front, set by the seller, from 1% to 50%.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Get your link

Open the product page and click **Promote and earn**, followed by the product's commission. Your personal link appears. No application, no waiting.

{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Share it

Post your link where your audience is. One honest line on why you like the product works best.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Get paid

When someone buys through your link, your commission is assigned to you in the same transaction as the sale, and only you can claim it. It waits for you in **Earnings & analytics → Affiliates**, under **Affiliate commissions**, ready to withdraw.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

{% hint style="info" %}
Share things you would actually buy. Your audience can tell the difference.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.lid.pro/start-here/quickstart-affiliate.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
