# Getting paid

You are paid in seconds, automatically, in digital dollars (USDC). No payout day, no minimum. How cashing out works today and what is being built.

When someone buys your product, your money arrives in seconds, automatically. This page answers the questions people ask about it.

## How fast do I get paid on Lid?

In the same second the buyer pays. The sale, the split and the payout are one transaction: your share and Lid's 3% settle, the sharer's commission is assigned to them to claim, and your balance goes up right away. There is no payout day, no minimum, and no withdrawal request. Lid never holds your money.

## What do I get paid in?

Digital dollars (USDC): a dollar that lives online. One USDC is worth one US dollar, always. Your balance is in dollars and stays in dollars.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Your Lid balance holds USDC only. If you ever deposit from outside, send USDC on Solana and nothing else.
{% endhint %}

## Where do I see my balance?

In your [dashboard](https://lid.pro/dashboard), with your full sales history: date, product, sale amount, your share.

## How do I cash out?

Today you send your USDC from **Settings → Wallet → Send digital dollars (USDC)** to an app or exchange that converts it to regular money. Paying out to your bank account directly is being built, five countries first.

## Can buyers pay with a card?

Yes. Buyers add funds with a card, Apple Pay or a bank transfer through MoonPay, where MoonPay operates, and pay in digital dollars (USDC).

## Is there a minimum payout or a waiting period?

No. Every sale pays in full, in seconds, whatever the amount. The one exception is a refund window you set yourself: with a window, the payment is protected until it closes, then releases to you on its own. See [Refunds and protection](/sell-on-lid/refunds-and-protection.md).

## What if a payment looks wrong?

Email <hello@lid.pro> with the product link and the time of the sale. Money questions go to the front of the line.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.lid.pro/sell-on-lid/payouts-and-usdc.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
