# Troubleshooting

Quick fixes: a shared link that did not count, money not showing, login codes, refund requests, card payments, the wrong coin, and how to reach us.

Quick fixes for the issues people hit most. If yours is missing, email <hello@lid.pro>.

## I shared my link and the sale didn't count

The buyer has to open your link before they buy. If they reached the product some other way, it counts as a direct sale and there is no commission to pay you.

One common cause: some apps open links in their own built-in browser, and that can break the connection between your link and the sale. Ask your buyer to open the link in a normal browser like Safari or Chrome, then buy.

Commissions cannot be added to a sale after it happens, so share the link itself, everywhere.

## My money isn't showing

Check your balance first. A seller's payout lands within seconds of a sale. If you shared the link, your commission waits in **Earnings & analytics → Affiliates** until you withdraw it.

If the product has a refund window, the money is held until the window closes or the buyer releases it. That is normal, and it releases automatically.

If it has been longer than a few minutes and nothing shows, contact us and we will look right away.

## I can't log in

Lid signs you in with your email. Request a login code, then check your inbox and your spam folder. Make sure you are using the same email you signed up with. Still stuck? Email us from that address.

## My buyer wants a refund

If you set a refund window on the product, the buyer can open a dispute inside that window. A person on our team looks at it and either releases the money to you or returns the full amount to the buyer, including any commission from the sale. After the window closes, the sale is final. If you set no window, sales are final right away.

If something needs a human decision, email us and we will help.

## My card payment didn't go through

Card payments run through MoonPay, which checks your identity before your first card payment and only works where it operates. If it does not work for you, add USDC on Solana from any exchange or wallet app instead, or email us.

## I sent the wrong coin

Your Lid balance holds USDC on Solana only. If you sent another coin, or used another network, email us with the details before you send anything else.

## How to reach us

Email <hello@lid.pro> or message [@albertofdez20](https://x.com/albertofdez20) on X. Include your account email and the product link involved.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.lid.pro/help/troubleshooting.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
