## Selling

<details>

<summary>What can I sell on Lid?</summary>

Digital products, courses and memberships are live today. You can also run challenges with prizes and reward campaigns, and put it all on your own site, where we switch it on for your account. Services with protected payments are being built.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What does Lid cost?</summary>

A flat 3% of each sale. There is no monthly fee to sell and no setup cost.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How fast do I get paid?</summary>

Within seconds of the sale. The payment splits automatically the moment it happens, and your share lands in your balance. If you set a refund window, it waits until the window ends.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Do I need to know anything technical?</summary>

No. You sign up with your email, set your price in dollars, and share your link. Everything else happens automatically.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can other people help me sell?</summary>

Yes. Turn on commission for your product and anyone can grab a share link. You choose the commission, from 1% to 50% of each sale.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I change the commission later?</summary>

Yes, going forward. Sales that already happened keep the split they were made under.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can buyers get refunds?</summary>

You choose a refund window when you create a product. Inside that window a buyer can open a dispute, and a person on our team decides whether the money goes to you or back to them. If you set no window, you are paid instantly and sales are final.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I sell memberships or subscriptions?</summary>

Yes. A membership gives your members posts only they can see, messages with you and your own page, on a monthly or yearly plan billed as a recurring subscription. See [Memberships](/sell-on-lid/memberships.md).

</details>

<details>

<summary>Do I own my customer relationships?</summary>

Yes. Your buyers, your content, and your pricing are yours. Lid is the tool underneath.

</details>

## Sharing and earning

<details>

<summary>How do I earn by sharing?</summary>

Find a product with commission turned on, grab your share link, and post it anywhere. When someone buys through your link, your commission is assigned to you in the same transaction, and only you can claim it.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How much can I earn per sale?</summary>

The seller sets the commission, anywhere from 1% to 50% of the price. You can see it before you share.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Do I need approval to share a product?</summary>

No. If commission is on, anyone can share and earn. There is no application and no waiting.

</details>

<details>

<summary>When do I get my commission?</summary>

It is assigned to you the moment the sale happens. Withdraw it from **Earnings & analytics → Affiliates** when you want. There is no payout day and no minimum balance.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Do I earn for inviting people to Lid?</summary>

Yes. Open **Referrals** in your dashboard and share your invite link. Everyone who signs up with it is tied to you, and their activity earns you 0.50%. Our team pays referral earnings to you in digital dollars (USDC).

</details>

<details>

<summary>What happens if the buyer gets a refund?</summary>

The whole payment returns to the buyer, including your commission. Refunds undo the full sale for everyone.

</details>

## Buying

<details>

<summary>What do I need to buy something?</summary>

An email address and digital dollars (USDC) to pay with. Your purchases stay in your account.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How do I pay?</summary>

With digital dollars (USDC). If you don't have any, add them with a card, Apple Pay or a bank transfer through MoonPay, where MoonPay operates. MoonPay checks your identity before your first card payment.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I get a refund?</summary>

If the seller set a refund window, you can open a dispute inside it. If our team decides in your favor, the full amount returns to you.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Is my payment protected?</summary>

If the product has a refund window, your payment waits in a hold until the window closes, and you can dispute it in that time. Without a window, your payment goes straight to the right people the second it happens, and nobody can change that afterward.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Where do I find what I bought?</summary>

Log in at [lid.pro](https://lid.pro) with the email you used at checkout. Your purchases are in your account.

</details>

## Lid and AI

<details>

<summary>What is Lida?</summary>

You focus on your business. Lida helps with the rest. She answers your questions, drafts your products and reads your sales; where the Builder is switched on, she builds your site.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can AI agents use Lid?</summary>

Yes. If you run your own AI agent, it can create products, run challenges and campaigns, share other people's products, and read its sales through a connection Lid provides. Buying with its own balance is in preview. If that means nothing to you, you can ignore it. Details are in [Agents on Lid](/agents.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.lid.pro/help/faq.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
